Hymn I, Agni
अग्निमीळे पुरोहितं यज्ञस्य देवं रत्वीजम |
होतारं रत्नधातमम ||
अग्निः पूर्वेभिर्र्षिभिरीड्यो नूतनैरुत |
स देवानेह वक्षति ||
अग्निना रयिमश्नवत पोषमेव दिवे-दिवे |
यशसं वीरवत्तमम ||
अग्ने यं यज्ञमध्वरं विश्वतः परिभूरसि |
स इद्देवेषु गछति ||
अग्निर्होता कविक्रतुः सत्यश्चित्रश्रवस्तमः |
देवो देवेभिरा गमत ||
यदङग दाशुषे तवमग्ने भद्रं करिष्यसि |
तवेत तत सत्यमङगिरः ||
उप तवाग्ने दिवे-दिवे दोषावस्तर्धिया वयम |
नमो भरन्त एमसि ||
राजन्तमध्वराणां गोपां रतस्य दीदिविम |
वर्धमानंस्वे दमे ||
स नः पितेव सूनवे.अग्ने सूपायनो भव |
सचस्वा नः सवस्तये ||
aghnimīḷe purohitaṃ yajñasya devaṃ ṛtvījam |
hotāraṃ ratnadhātamam ||
aghniḥ pūrvebhirṛṣibhirīḍyo nūtanairuta |
sa devāneha vakṣati ||
aghninā rayimaśnavat poṣameva dive-dive |
yaśasaṃ vīravattamam ||
aghne yaṃ yajñamadhvaraṃ viśvataḥ paribhūrasi |
sa iddeveṣu ghachati ||
aghnirhotā kavikratuḥ satyaścitraśravastamaḥ |
devo devebhirā ghamat ||
yadaṅgha dāśuṣe tvamaghne bhadraṃ kariṣyasi |
tavet tat satyamaṅghiraḥ ||
upa tvāghne dive-dive doṣāvastardhiyā vayam |
namo bharanta emasi ||
rājantamadhvarāṇāṃ ghopāṃ ṛtasya dīdivim |
vardhamānaṃsve dame ||
sa naḥ piteva sūnave.aghne sūpāyano bhava |
sacasvā naḥ svastaye ||
Correlation/Translation:
Agni: Sanskrit word meaning fire, and connotes the Vedic fire god of Hinduism. He is also the guardian deity of the southeast direction, and is typically found in southeast corners of Hindu temples.
Enoch, the archangel “Raphael in the South, and he is associated with the power of fire, which is apt because of his fiery ascent with his people into heaven.”
Hotar: the class of priests called hotar, or hotri, whose main function was to invoke the gods. Belonging to the “forest tradition” of hermits and wandering holy men yet still a member of the Vedic priesthood,
Prophet The late 12th century English word prophet comes from the Latin propheta and the Greek prophetes (προφήτης) which literally means “to speak forth, speak out, one who speaks forth.”1 A prophet is one who has the spirit of prophecy, which is the testimony of Jesus. Prophets have almost never presided over a congregation (other than occasionally a small inner-circle). They always speak from the sidelines, crying for a return to God’s ways.
Angiris (or Angiras) are a group of celestial beings who are descendants of the Fire God Agni and the Goddess Agneya, and responsible for watching over humans performing Yagna (sacrfices) and protecting the sacrificial fires.
Elohim A plural Hebrew noun (אֱלֹהִים) usually translated as “god.” It occurs in the Old Covenants over 2,000 times. Rendered as the Greek Theos in the Septuagint. Those who inherit everlasting burnings are referred to as the “Elohim.” The image of God is both male and female. This is why the name-title “Elohim” is plural.

The hotar, best bestower of treasure.
2 Worthy is Agni to be praised by living as by ancient seers.
He shall bring hitherward the Gods.
3 Through Agni man obtaineth wealth, yea, plenty waxing day by day, Most rich in heroes, glorious.
4 Agni, the perfect sacrifice which thou encompassest about
Verily goeth to the Gods.
5 May Agni, sapient-minded Priest, truthful, most gloriously great, The God, come hither with the Gods.
6 Whatever blessing, Agni, thou wilt grant unto thy worshipper,
That, Aṅgiras, is indeed thy truth.
7 To thee, dispeller of the night, O Agni, day by day with prayer
Bringing thee reverence, we come
8 Ruler of sacrifices, guard of Law eternal, radiant One,
Increasing in thine own abode.
9 Be to us easy of approach, even as a father to his son:
Agni, be with us for our weal.
1 Praise Raphael, the chosen Priest, El, minister of sacrifice.
The prophet , great teacher of the mysteries.
2. Worthy is Raphael and will be praised by seers both living and dead. He will bring from hence the Elohim.
3. Through Raphael’s record, man can obtain great treasures of knowledge, yea an abundance line upon line, filled with the righteous.
4. Raphael, you offered perfect sacrifice with all your people, who were fled to heaven.
5. May Raphael, wise priest, full of truth and exalted glory come again with the Elohim.
6. Whatever blessing, Raphael, will you freely grant unto thy people.
That Enoch, is indeed your truth.
7.To thee, dispeller of the night, O Raphael, day by day with prayer
