Meditation

The word “Zen” is the Japanese pronunciation of the Chinese “Ch’an,” which means “meditation.” Ch’an came to Japan and became “Zen” around the eighth century. Today, the word “Zen” is in more general use in the West.

“But you, when you pray, enter into your closet. And when you have shut the door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret shall reward you openly. ” Matthew 3:28

Yoga

Yoga is set apart from any other physical activity as a mind, body and spirit practice. Yoga creates a space for holistic wellness with physical, mental, emotional and spiritual benefits.

Yoga is simply defined as a union, to unite or to yoke. “Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart. And you shall find rest unto your souls, for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”  Matt 6:8

Yoga unites mental focus with physical postures and breath.  As a spiritual practice it allows us to connect with God.

Reiki

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and Ki which is “life force energy”. So Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force energy.”

It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the principle that “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.

Because Reiki comes from God, many people find that using Reiki puts them more in touch with the experience of their religion rather than having only an intellectual concept of it.

“Truly, truly I say unto you, he that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also. And greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my Father.” John 9:7

Tapping

Tapping is a powerful stress relief technique. Tapping is based on the combined principles of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology.

Meridian lines are the system of pathways in the body by which energy flows. Energy meaning: electrical, physical, scientific energy.

It is the system that acupuncturists, chiropractors, and energy psychology practitioners use to alleviate physical and emotional symptoms.

Chakras

The term chakra commonly refers to the seven principal energy centers. These seven centers are located in the energy body at points corresponding in the physical body the base of the spine, just below the navel, the solar plexus, the center of the chest at the level of the heart, the throat, the forehead between the brows (often referred to as the third eye or spiritual eye), and the crown of the head.

Consider now that the Endocrine System is responsible for chemical communication throughout the body and is essential for our health and well-being. Hormones secreted from the endocrine glands are carried through the bloodstream to various organs and tissues of the body.  The most important glands of the endocrine system and their connection to the chakras are:

Pituitary – spirituality (crown)
Pineal – intuition (third eye)
Thyroid – communication (throat)
Thymus – love (heart)
Pancreas – power (gut)
Ovaries/Testes – sexuality (lower abdomen)
Adrenals – survival

There are seven main glands, and yes, there are seven chakras.  These wheels of energy were first described in ancient Sanskrit writings knows as The Vedas, the Hindu Scriptures.

The Seven Natural Laws of the Universe

Law of Pure Potentiality
Your essential nature is pure consciousness, the infinite source of everything that exists in the physical world. Since you are an inextricable part of the field of consciousness, you are also infinitely creative, unbounded, and eternal.
Law of Giving and Receiving
Giving and receiving are different expressions of the same flow of energy in the universe. Since the universe is in constant and dynamic exchange, you need to both give and receive to keep abundance, love, and anything else you want circulating in your life.
Law of Karma
Every action generates a force of energy that returns to you in kind. When you choose actions that bring happiness and success to others, the fruit of your karma is happiness and success.
Law of Least Effort
You can most easily fulfill your desires when your actions are motivated by love, and when you expend the least effort by offering no resistance. In this way, you tap into the infinite organizing power of the universe to do less and accomplish everything.
Law of Intention and Desire
Inherent in every intention and desire are the mechanics for its fulfillment. When you become quiet and introduce your intentions into the field of pure potentiality, you harness the universe’s infinite organizing power, which can manifest your desires with effortless ease.
Law of Detachment
At the spirit level, everything is always unfolding perfectly. You don’t have to struggle or force situations to go your way. Instead, you can intend for everything to work out as it should, take action, and then allow opportunities to spontaneously emerge.
Law of Dharma
Everyone has a Dharma or purpose in life. By expressing your unique talents and using them to serve others, you will experience unlimited love, abundance, and true fulfillment in your life.
