And (Jesus) shall be a Sign (for the coming of) the Hour (of Judgment): therefore have no doubt about the (Hour), but follow ye Me:
Today, I have perfected your religion for you; I have completed My blessing upon you; I have approved islām for your religion.
“Whomsoever God desires to guide, He opens his heart to islām .”
The first mosques were modeled on the place of worship of the Prophet Muhammad—the courtyard of his house at Medina—and were simply plots of ground marked out as sacred. Though the mosque as such has undergone many architectural changes, the building remains essentially an open space, generally roofed over, containing a mihrāb (ornately decorated wall facing Mecca) and a minbar (domed box pulpit at the top of stairs). Outside the mosque stands the minaret (maʾdhanah), which was originally any elevated place but now usually a tower. It is used by the muezzin “crier” to proclaim the call to worship (adhān) five times each day.
According to tradition, the Five Pillars of Islam are the five obligations that every Muslim must satisfy in order to live a good and responsible life. However, true Islam is derived from the Words of Allah and not from the traditions or cultures of any people.
Allah bears witness that there is no god but Him, as do the angels and the people of knowledge, upholding justice. There is no god but Him, the Almighty, the All-Wise.
al-Imran 3:18
God is merciful unto all who believe on his name; therefore, he desireth, in the first place, that ye should believe, yea, even on his word. And now, he imparteth his word by angels unto men, yea, not only men, but women also. Now this is not all. Little children do have words given unto them many times which do confound the wise and the learned.
Alma 16.26
I am God, and there is no god but I, so serve Me, and observe acts of prayer to remember Me.
Ayah Ta Ha 20:15
Cry unto him in your houses, yea, over all your household, both morning, midday, and evening. Yea, cry unto him against the power of your enemies. Yea, cry unto Him against the Devil, who is an enemy to all righteousness. Cry unto Him over the crops of your fields, that ye may prosper in them; cry over the flocks of your fields, that they may increase.
Alma 16:35
It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces Towards east or West; but it is righteousness- to believe in God and the Last Day, and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; to spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and practice regular charity; to fulfill the contracts which ye have made; and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and diversity, and throughout all periods of panic. Such are the people of truth, the God-fearing
al-Baqarah 2:177
And also, ye yourselves will succor those that stand in need of your succor. Ye will administer of your substance unto him that standeth in need, and ye will not suffer that the beggar putteth up his petition to you in vain, and turn him out to perish.
Mosiah 2:4
And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men: they will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on every kind of camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways.
al-Hajj 22:27
And it shall come to pass in the last days, when the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, and he will teach us of his ways and we will walk in his paths.
2 Ne 8:4
O you who have attained to faith! Fasting is ordained for you as it was ordained for those before you, so that you might remain conscious of God
al-Baqarah 2:183
Yea, come unto him, and offer your whole souls as an offering unto him, and continue in fasting and praying, and endure to the end, and as the Lord liveth, ye will be saved.
Omni 1:10
A Muslim is a true believer in all the Messengers and Prophets of God without any discrimination. All messengers are mortals, human beings, endowed with Divine revelations and appointed by God to teach mankind. The Holy Quran mentions the names of 25 messengers and prophets and states that there are others. These include Adam, Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Moses, and Muhammad.
Islam is a voluntary submission to God; wholeness, sincerity, safeness and peace. It is action in returning to God, more than just a verbal affirmation of iman (faith)
The Recitation.
“And [remember:] it was to you that Joseph came aforetime with all evidence of the truth; but you never ceased to throw doubt on all [the messages] that he brought you - so much so that when he died, you said, ‘Never will God send a messenger after him!’ “In this way God lets go astray such as waste their own selves by throwing suspicion [on His revelations]. 40:34
Those who deny God and His messengers and seek to make a distinction between God and His messengers and say, "We believe in some messengers and disbelieve in others," and desire to adopt a position in between, 4:150
They are the ones who reject this Book and all scriptures We sent Our messengers with. They will know the consequences. 40:70
Tell them, If the ocean became ink for writing the words of my Lord, surely the ocean would be exhausted before the words of my Lord came to an end even if We were to add another ocean to it. 18:109
Know ye not that there are more nations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea? And that I rule in the heavens above and in the earth beneath, and I bring forth my word unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth? Wherefore murmur ye because that ye shall receive more of my word? Know ye not that the testimony of two nations is a witness unto you that I am God? That I remember one nation like unto another? Wherefore, I speak the same words unto one nation like unto another. And when the two nations shall run together, the testimony of the two nations shall run together also. And I do this that I may prove unto many that I am the same yesterday, today, and for ever, and that I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure.
2 Ne 12:9
Ibrahim 14:7
For behold, thus saith the Lord God, I will give unto the children of men line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little. And blessed are those who hearken unto my precepts and lend an ear unto my counsel, for they shall learn wisdom. For unto him that receiveth I will give more; and from them that shall say, We have enough — shall be taken away even that which they have. 2Ne 12:6
Ayah ad-Dhuha 93:7
Yea, and then shall the work commence with the Father among all nations, in preparing the way whereby his people may be gathered home to the land of their inheritance. And they shall go out from all nations, and they shall not go out in haste nor go by flight, for I will go before them, saith the Father, and I will be their rearward. 3Ne 10:1
Ayah al-Anfal 8:33
Behold, he sendeth an invitation unto all men; for the arms of mercy are extended towards them, and he saith, Repent and I will receive you. Yea, he saith, Come unto me and ye shall partake of the fruit of the tree of life; yea, ye shall eat and drink of the bread and the waters of life freely. Alma 3:6

Islam “the Deen” overthrows oppression, and allows people to live in security and with peace of mind in the here and now. Whereas Islam “the religion”, requires the practice of rites and rituals to achieve individual peace and salvation in the after world. Authentic Islam is not a religion, but is in fact a challenge to religion.
Islam looks at every individual as a human being first, who needs to satisfy all of their basic needs completely. Then it looks to them in their capacity as a particular individual, to enable them to satisfy their luxuries as much as possible.
