Everything Just So
To my knowledge conference organizers got everything that they wanted in the order and outline of conference proceedings.
- There was no official live stream of proceedings for those who wanted to listen but could not be present in person.
- The agenda for proceedings was followed as outlined
- There was no remote vote that was counted toward the total.
Rebel Force
A brave woman organized her audio and visual equipment with the intention of sharing a video feed to everyone who wanted to watch remotely. She was told that if she broadcast to anyone other than council members that she would be escorted from the premises by security. I honor her courage, her fortitude, and strength required to muscle through those 8 hours in hostile conditions. I continued to text during meeting down times to offer encouragement. I could tell in her responses she was very stressed.
The zoom link that was shared in the Slack fellowship groups was occupied by about 50 people throughout the day. We had another brave woman who left her phone line open and let the rest of us listen in. The audio quality wasn’t great, but it was good enough given the circumstances we were left with. Phone snapshots of the PowerPoint presentation were shared with me and I uploaded them into the Zoom call for everyone to see. There was a running chat conversation where people could interact with each other and I noted who was at the mic, since our Rebel Feed Zoom attendees were otherwise blind to who was currently speaking.

My Favorite Questions
From what I understand, Jennifer Willis in 2020 you removed Louie’s certificate without a women’s council. Why did you go against the Lord and his instructions and make it your prerogative to remove that certificate?
timestamp 48:43
Did you have any sort of conversation with Lou wherein you were not happy with something in his behavior where it was conveyed to him that he was not use his priesthood in public? The end result is the same.
timestamp 50:54
No one gets to override the Lord’s guidelines. If anyone seeks to attack any man, woman, or child by mimicking and mocking a legitimate women’s council by disregarding the instructions and commandments of the Lord, they must be held accountable by women who are committed to maintain the integrity of women’s councils. Those with authority need to be the ones to ensure authority is not abused.
A Little Peace in Paradise: Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God
Can you help me understand what you meant by that?
I feel like… The authority was in the council and that comes from there being 12 of them. So… they take on a big responsibility with there being 12. This feels like taking authority that doesn’t exist and using some perceived authority against something that is actually authorized.

Where in scripture and revelation does God give a women’s conference the authority to hold women accountable? The words of the Lord gives in the revelation are: voluntary, consider, remember, reason together. Does the women’s conference have the authority to conduct movement-wide rulings as these organizers have decided? What happens to the fellowships’ autonomy?
timestamp 2:27:51
During Amberli’s second PowerPoint, she mentioned that Jennifer had said that if the council did not hand over the documents that she was asking for, then there would be serious consequences from the Lord. I would like to know, Jennifer, if you could expound on that. What were the serious consequences and do you have a testimony of what the Lord told you they would be?
timestamp: 4:46:01
Jennifer, you asked us to attend this conference and to hear your many binders of evidence. And have now stated that 14 women, including his wife, have lied to us. And have asked us to not believe them. Ashley has been abused and a restraining order has been put in place. And many hours of witnesses have testified about what they have seen. Why should we believe you over them?

Voice of the Women's Conference
Do you sustain the process used by Louis Naegle’s April 2024 women’s council as fair, just and in accordance with the Lord’s instructions?
Yes -98, no-22, abstain – 3
Do you sustain this WCL’s authority to remove Louis Naegle’s priesthood certificate?
Yes – 101, no – 19, abstain – 3
I’m confident that the voice of the people will almost always choose the right outcome. I approach our disagreements with the confidence that in the end we will achieve the right outcome. Be encouraged to lay aside your fears trust the body of believers and do not lose faith because we have a matter to resolve.

The rebels also conducted an unofficial vote, noting “I acknowledge that this ballot will only be counted in Heaven’s record.”
That ballot is still open if any woman would like to add their voice to the unofficial roll.
Feedback shared with permission
A group of incredible women formed organically and coordinated efforts through a text group to be Peacemakers and not just peacekeepers. These included:
Kathy Llewellyn who organized the Peace in Christ open house for the men.
Tammy Johnson who led the Preparing the Peacemakers Zoom meetings in the hour before the conference zooms.
Clarice Scott who founded the Slack group exclusively for women called Daughters of the Covenant. Any woman who would like to join is welcome.
Ally Bishop, organizer and elected conductor of the One Heart – Common Consent Town Hall meeting.
Paula Christensen, whose email to the women’s email group regarding the April 12th conference opened the conversation for all of us to begin engaging.
And one woman who I know prefers anonymity.
Ally Bishop wrote a wonderful distinction in her email to the Women’s gaggle email group.
We are not called to be enablers and peace keepers. We are called to be peacemakers. The Lord and His scriptures warn us continually that the adversary will try to thwart every attempt at Zion with every trick in the book. One specific warning is about wolves in sheep’s clothing. There will be wolves among us, and we are not commanded to be eaten up. We are commanded, as always, to intercede, call them to repentance, and if they persist in evil, if they refuse to repent, seek peril, and cause harm, we are commanded to cast them out.
A follow up comment noted:
I realize now that ‘making’ peace can take a lot more effort than ‘keeping’ peace, which is probably why it feels uncomfortable, and why it is specifically asked of us.
As we have labored together we have knit our hearts together in a unique and powerful way. This process, though incredibly hard, has given all of us deep, meaningful and lifelong friendships. We have become so precious to one another.
From Ally Bishop:
Aimee and [redacted], thank you so much for doing the zoom and letting people know about it. I’m so grateful others could listen in. I’m sorry the quality was awful and you probably heard me make some frustrated, snide comments at times. I’m sorry! I shouldn’t have judged.
Clarice, thank you for your tapping meditation. It took me to a whole other world and soothed my soul. Your wisdom inspires, encourages, and edifies me.
Paula, I’m so grateful for your unwavering support, your conviction, and your quest for truth. I love you so much. Your husband is so awesome too!!!
And TammyJo, I’m so glad I got to sit beside you. I’m glad you got to hold my baby and we could chat so much. You are all absolutely incredible. I am grateful to have grown so close to you through this experience. I love you dearly. I treasure you
From Paula Christensen:
Dearest Ally, it was an absolute privilege to sit with you and TammyJo through the whole process.
You both helped me kept calm and stay focused. Things didn’t quite turn out the way I imagined but it turned out better than what I was expecting.
TammyJo thank you for sharing some insights that enlightened my heart and mind.
Clarice I loved the tapping meditation as well. We all needed it so much. I think we could have used it at least one more time. I heard a couple ladies comment how much they loved and needed the tapping meditation.Kathy I echo Ally’s sentiments and I thank you for your hard work in putting the Peace in Christ open house together. I know the men needed that.
I love the shirt you gave us and had several people comment on how awesome it was and where did I get it.Aimee & [redacted], I wish you both could have been there today. Your efforts to put out the word and the emails & blogs. It was just amazing. Your work is noted forever in my mind and heart.
Truth be told I think there were many Esthers in that room.
I love you all dear sisters! I hold you close to my heart
.This was indeed a part of the birthing process. We all felt the pains but I came away feeling added upon. I sensed a unity amongst the sisters that was beautiful, and we could not have learned the lessons any other way.
I believe very much Wisdom was with us today. Mother was there guiding Her daughters.
Passover 2025
As conference concluded and efforts culminating over the last four weeks came to a close, Passover began. Significant, and I’m not sure we fully appreciate how much so.
My family observed our Passover dinner on Saturday night, but unlike the Jews we had our dinner before sundown to accommodate plans my older children had made for their evening. Using a lesson plan that was developed out of a 1990 Ensign article that my father read to me as a child, I read to them the symbols of the Seder plate and how it related to Israel’s deliverance from bondage. My lesson was converted into a blog post is shared publicly here: Passover Promises Fulfilled, Holy Week – Part 3 – Face Toward Zion
At sundown I went into the yard and blasted the shofar. Three long blasts, 12 short blasts and one REALLY long blast until I ran out of air.
Palm Sunday
My family was all under one roof for a fleeting weekend between college semesters ending, work beginning and yet another mission call. I got updated family pictures today, which was a tender mercy. Laying these two family portraits side by side I see so much change and growth in each one of my children’s stature and faces.
In consequence of a fleeting moment of bravery two weeks ago I volunteered to sing in my family’s ward sacrament meeting. I did, in fact, sing today. I was shaking so hard I could hardly plug my phone into the audio system for the accompaniment. I misaligned with the audio track because of my nerves but sang it the same way twice, so it almost sounded intentional.
Covenant Christians
Listening to the conference proceedings today Denver shared with the congregation that the Lord has given this movement a name.
This is what you shall say to the people: I give to you a name to distinguish you from others. And you shall call one another by this name: Covenant Christians. Because you have and hold a covenant with Me that makes you My followers deserving of My protection. But My protection does not only defend but also corrects, reproves, disciplines, and guides you along that you may be Mine indeed.
This is significant. Again, I don’t think we fully appreciate how much so. We have so much to look forward to.
We are at our ugliest when we disagree and we should instead be models of patience and charity, recognizing fractures are inevitable and treating them as opportunities to understand one another. That seems like a distant goal presently over our horizon and out of our sight.
But we are pointed in the right direction. It may remain a long journey
but we’re clearly moving. As long as there is any sign of growth in the Lord’s vineyard He will tend it and let the growth develop.Denver Snuffer, 13 April 2025
